I have a room available in a 2 bedroom flat in a central location in Bath, my flatmate is moving out so I am looking for someone to replace her. The room is a good size and comes partly furnished, as my flatmate was happy to leave her desk, bedside table and some shelves. However, my landlord wanted to stress that the furniture is not his and would therefore become the responsibility of the new tenant. The room faces the courtyard so it is quiet even though the flat is quite central. The rest of the flat comes furnished and with basic appliances in the kitchen (toaster, microwave, oven and hob, fridge, freezer) and sofa, table and chairs in the living room. The room/flat is also currently undergoing some repairs but the room should hopefully be finished around the 13th of July by the landlord's current estimate. Around that time would be the earliest possible move-in date. I've put down the 20th just in case. The most ideal for me would be for the tenancy to officially start on the 31st of July/1st of August (due to bills contracts etc.).
The flat is owned by a private landlord who will want to do some basic checks on any new tenant.
I myself am looking for someone who is willing to take up their fair share of cleaning etc. and is respectful in their usage of common areas. I don't mind if people prefer to keep to themselves or like to have friendly chats and will happily adjust to either. Female flatmates preferred. Also happy to answer any questions about myself or the place etc.
Unfortunately, the room is not suitable for students, couples or children.
