A beautiful double/mini-annexe available in light, airy flat in peaceful setting just outside Wincanton, within 5 mins drive of lovely market town of Castle Cary and half an hour from Glastonbury.

Perfectly located 'hidden gem', just a few mins drive from the Newt in Somerset and Holbrook House health club. The property has beautiful grounds and views over the surrounding countryside and shared access to a heated outdoor swimming pool and tennis court (included in the price of your room).

The rate is inclusive of bills. You get high-speed broadband, use of own (new - you will be only the third person to use it!) kitchenette, shared bathroom, access to the extensive grounds and own parking space. It would suit a tidy, conscious, professional female (a non-smoker and vegetarian/ vegan if poss), who does not work from home all the time. You are sharing with me, the live-in owner.

If you are quiet, love nature and are pretty self-contained, you will likely absolutely love it here. The place has a community feel, the neighbours are lovely and helpful and yet it still feels quite private.

I tend to keep the door closed between my area of the house and yours and so your space is quite private (with the exception of me popping to the bathroom once in a while).

I am a straight female and pretty easy to get on with. I need to live in a clean, tidy space, though, so tidy people only need apply. I eat a pretty much plant-based diet and am a business owner. I like to think of myself as quite green and am taking on a lodger to help me reduce my carbon footprint and live more consciously.

The property has good transport links, being just a few mins drive from the A303 and is about 7 minutes' drive from the mainline station at Castle Cary and also Bruton station. The nearest supermarkets (Morrisons, Lidl) are about 5 minutes drive away.

The property is likely to be most suited to someone who has a car, or at least an electric scooter.
