I'm looking for a friendly, considerate housemate to share my 1820s weaver's cottage on Innox Hill, one of Frome's most sought-after locations.

The house overlooks Whatcombe fields, with rolling hills and grazing cows beyond the windows, whilst being just a 10-minute walk from town.

The room is a furnished double with a large desk, countryside views and a feature fireplace (not a working fire).

The house is full of character and includes:

Dog lovers essential!

I have a one-year-old working Cocker Spaniel. He's affectionate, energetic and will want to be your best friend, so you'll need to genuinely enjoy dogs and be happy sharing the space with him.

A little about me: I'm Carly. I work in community and events, creating spaces that help people connect more deeply with themselves and each other. Outside of work you'll usually find me walking Rowan, swimming, dancing, making music, spending time in nature or dreaming up new projects.

I've put a lot of love into making this house feel like a home and I'm looking for someone who'd enjoy that too.

I value both connection and independence and would love to live with someone who feels similarly.

I'm looking for a long-term lodger, though I'm open to shorter-term arrangements in the meantime whilst I find the right fit.
I work from home (I have an office so the living spaces are always available to use) so I'd generally prefer someone who isn't working remotely full-time, but I'm happy to be flexible for the right person..

I'll also be away fairly often over the summer so you'll have time in the house to yourself.
