I'm looking for a friendly, considerate lodger to share my beautiful 1820s weaver's cottage in one of Frome's most sought-after locations.

The house sits in a magical spot on Innox Hill, overlooking Whatcombe fields, with rolling hills and cows grazing beyond the windows, whilst being just a 10-minute walk from the centre of town.

The room is a furnished double bedroom with a large desk and chair, countryside views, and a decorative fireplace (feature only, not a working fire).

I share the house with Rowan, my one-year-old working Cocker Spaniel. He's affectionate, energetic and will want to be your best friend, so you'll need to genuinely enjoy dogs and be happy sharing the space with him.

A little about me: I'm Carly. I work in community and events, mostly from my home office, and spend my time between work, walking Rowan, swimming, music, dancing, nature, travelling and community projects.

Ideally I'm looking for someone who isn't working from home full-time, although I'm open to flexibility for the right person.

What I'm really hoping to create is a home rather than just a house share. I value both connection and independence and would love to live with someone who feels similarly.

I'm involved in a lot of community-building work and I'd love the house to have a warm, welcoming community feel rather than everyone living entirely separate lives.

Ideally I'm looking for a long-term lodger, but I'm also happy to consider shorter-term arrangements initially while I take the time to find the right long-term fit.

Single occupancy only. No couples or company lets.
