Hi,

I bought Hummingbird House (check it out on Google/Airbnb/Booking. com) with a friend and I share with lodgers and guests throughout the year. I might go away for a few months so I'd need someone independent, trustworthy and reliable.

Quiet house with great views, on a friendly street with lovely neighbours. Might be a good interim place whilst you're looking for something more long-term.

The room comes with a standard or king double bed, bedside cabinets, clothes rail and chest of drawers.
This place will suit someone who:

- likes a really quiet, peaceful and friendly space with great views;
- would like off-street parking for their car;
- can cope without a big screen in the lounge;
- enjoys occasional shared mealtimes;
- knows how to maintain a fresh, clean and tidy home;
- spends some time out of the house every day;
- is happy to show their ID and pay a deposit.

Usually a child-free and pet-free home. Please mention upfront if you have a baby/child/pet with you - yes people have 'forgotten' to mention them before! We would need to have a conversation well in advance to see what might be possible. Pets may be considered but would be downstairs and out front only, so it won’t suit everyone.

This is not likely to be your 'forever home' or long-term but who knows, things change. Lack of laundry facilities (you'll need to go to the launderette) and storage along with my dislike of coffee might put some people off.
