Hi! I am looking for a lodger to let out the spare room in my flat. My current lodger is moving out so I am looking for my next roomie! The price is inclusive of all bills (electricity, gas, wifi, council tax etc.), and this price would not increase for the duration of your stay. One simple payment each month for rent and utilities of £595.00 is all that is required. The room comes fully furnished. If extra furniture is required you are welcome to bring whatever you like to the room. I also provide certain household amenities such as cleaning products, detergent, tea, coffee, milk, and toilet paper for your use. Please note the room is a single room with a single bed that comes with bedding if needed.

I ask that you clean up after yourself in common areas, but I’m not worried about a little mess and clutter every now and then as I understand we live busy lives. If you are a gamer, please be welcome to plug in your console in to the TV, I do not mind at all, play as much as you like. Guests are welcome if you would ever like to invite over friends or partners. This would be your space too and I would like you to feel at home.

This is my home and you would be sharing the space with just me. Your room would be your own and your privacy respected. The bathroom, and kitchen/living area is shared.

There are two local convenience shops a minute walk away. 5-10 minutes walk away is a LIDL and M&S. Oldfield Park train station is a 10 minute walk away, plus many local bus connections right by the flat. You can walk into the centre in roughly 25 minutes depending on your pace. There is space for a bicycle in the entranceway if needed under the stairs. There is plenty of parking on the nearby streets and outside the flat that does not require a permit if you have a car. There is always at least one bay available.

I am a young professional and live in the other room in the flat. I am very sociable and love to socialise, meet new people, and go on adventures. I have one cat living with me who spends the day outside and sleeps with me at night, lovely Lily. I am responsible for feeding her, the bowls are in my room as is her tray so there is no inconvenience to you. She is super friendly and cuddly, you’ll often find her wanting to snuggle in close to you!
