Tucked away in East Harptree, this is a peaceful, self contained shepherd’s hut with its own garden space, offering a simple and independent way of living in a quieter, nature connected setting within the village.

Although listed on SpareRoom as a room, this is actually a fully self contained space with its own entrance, fully equipped kitchenette, and ensuite bathroom, so it feels much more like a tiny home than a house share.

Inside, the hut is furnished with a double bed that can also be used as a sofa, a small table and chairs, and a compact but fully equipped kitchenette with everything needed for day to day cooking. There is a private ensuite bathroom with a proper flushing toilet, sink, and hot shower.

WiFi is included, along with all other bills.

Outside, there is your own garden area, along with a separate summer house with seating, and off road parking just a short walk from the hut. There is also space to sit outside or grow a few plants if that’s something you enjoy.

The space suits someone who appreciates a quieter way of living and is comfortable in a slightly tucked away setting, rather than a conventional house share.

All bills are included, and the hut is best suited to a single person.
Minimum stay is 3 months, but it’s ideally suited to someone looking for a longer term place (6 months or more).

The hut doesn’t have its own separate postal address, so it’s best suited to someone comfortable using an alternative address for official post if needed. Parcel deliveries can usually be arranged easily on site.
