We are looking for a new lodger to join us in our lovely home. Agreements are offered on a monthly rolling basis, offering maximum flexibility.

We welcome people who are clean and tidy and respectful. Foreign/exchange or PhD/post graduate students are welcome as are working professionals. We are excellently situated for NHS professionals at the Heath - rotational or otherwise. We work in healthcare ourselves.

There is plenty of parking with no restriction locally. The road is very quiet with no through traffic.

The room has the biggest floor space of all rooms and is furnished including large double bed, clothes hanging space, bed side units, drawers and a table for work/eating etc. The view from the room is fantastic, over the park toward Lisvane Reservoir which the house backs on too.

The house benefits from double glazing throughout, gas central heating and plumbing (so no cold showers), washing machine, dryer, microwave & 4 ring gas cooker and gas oven.

General info:

Our house backs onto lovely woodland walks alongside Llanishen & Lisvane reservoirs, and is based at the top of Fidlas Avenue. The house is ideally situated for those who want peace & quiet to work or relax, yet need easy fast access to the city centre. Cardiff's Universities and the National Indoor Athletics Centre (NIAC) are just 2 miles away, as is the University Hospital of Wales (Heath Hospital / The Heath).

We have really good links to the A48 and M4 as we commute to work along the M4 corridor.

Trains: Heath High level is a 10 minute walk from the house. It takes just 4 minutes to Cardiff Queen Street, 9 minutes to Cardiff Central and 12 minutes to Cardiff Bay.

Buses: The number 28 bus stops opposite the house & is easy to catch into Cardiff. It leaves every 30 minutes during the day, or 60 minutes in the evening.
