LARGE bright ROOM AVAILABLE in a house filled with books, from end of April Would suit post grad, academic or international student. Friendly household of warm professional women who like to read, cook, eat, make things and chat. I own the house with my partner, who lives in London and is here very occasionally (a few times a year). I also work in the arts and in London, so I'm generally away Sun - Wed, The two lovely lodgers work at the museum in town and are easygoing and friendly.

The house is situated on a quiet cul-de-sac, and there is a great community spirit in the neighbourhood. Close to music, film, art, and cultural venues, as well as some excellent restaurants. A 3-minute walk to Chapter Arts Centre and a 25 min walk into the city centre. The neighbourhood of Canton has excellent greengrocers, butchers, supermarkets, and bakeries, all within 5 minutes from the house. The room features a large comfy double bed with cotton bedding changed by the cleaner once a week, wardrobe, bookshelves, a large desk in the window, a lovely fireplace. There is a TV equipped with Netflix, Apple TV, Prime Video, and more. There is a small well kept garden, with lots of green and flowers. Large kitchen and sitting room free to use.

Reduction to 100 a week if only Mon - Fri

Gwenie the cat is very friendly, she will definitely want to say hello. She rules the house, just so you’re aware!
