Looking for a lodger for a double bedroom in a top floor flat of a beautiful Victorian house (1.5 miles) from the city centre.

Live-in landlord (F, 29) & work in a different city so I’m away on the weekends. So the place should feel like your own place/home when you’re here!

The room: Overlooking the patio garden/garage area, quiet spacious double bedroom paired with bedside table, clothes rail, wooden hangers & cosy armchair. Flatscreen TV with FireStick 4K & TV stand included.

Everything but the bed can be removed on request, as it took me ages to put it up! The room also has a working ceiling fan.

Shared facilities: Bathroom with a shower/corner bath & under sink storage.

Kitchen equipped with all brand new white goods and appliances; kettle, fridge, extractor fan, oven, hob and washerdryer.

Airing/ storage cupboard.

Small outdoor patio area nothing fancy with a garden sofa, cushions, armchair & table.

Parking: Permit parking on the road to the side of the property, can apply via council website.

Or non-permitted parking in street front of the property (need to cross the main road opposite).

Note: Recently renovated/decorated the flat so may still be minor cosmetic maintenance but will be always on hand to deal with any issues.

Local area: Green spaces includes around a 5 minute walk to the beautiful Waterloo Gardens and a 35 minute walk to the renowned Roath Park Lake.

5 min walk (0.2 miles) from a convenience shops, local restaurants and takeaways, 7 min walk (0.3 miles) from retail park Aldi, TKMaxx, Dunelm and more, 14-16 min walk (0.7 miles) to The Gym Group & a climbing centre for those into your fitness.

Or venture into Cardiff city centre in a 30-35 minute walk.

Transport: Easy transport links to M4 & M48 and the city centre, bus routes (30, 44, 45, 49, 50) all stop a 2 min walk down the road from the property.

The bus takes 9 minutes to the city centre or 7-15 minutes drive depending on traffic.

Looking for someone who is tidy and friendly to share the space with who doesn’t mind their own company too as I may be out the house often.

Happy to do a monthly-rolling contract for the time being or a short term/longer term contract to ensure the place is suitable for you/myself. Open to discussion based on your needs. I’m pretty flexible!
