Hi, I'm renting out a room in my house over the summer on a short-term basis, with the possibility of it being longer-term if things work out.

I bought this place a few months ago and it's got plenty of space for a lodger - you'd have your own king sized bedroom and ensuite. Price is £600/month with bills all included, including wifi. The room is furnished with a bed/bedside table/chest of drawers and built-in storage, but I am open to getting more furniture for the room to make it more comfortable for you. There's a spare room in the house with a desk for an office-space, so if you work from home, then this should hopefully work out well for you.

About me: I’m a resident doctor and so will be out during the day a lot, as well as working a variety of shift patterns, so having someone that can be similarly respectful of people working shift patterns and being quiet during the day when on nights shifts would be great. Living-wise, I’m pretty laid back. I can keep to myself, as I enjoy reading, listening to podcasts and watching films. I’ve often lived in social shared houses, though and enjoy cooking and hosting communal dinners. I also enjoy a pub/bar trip occasionally.

Housemate wise, I've lived with many different people before and I find having some variation in personalities is good, so I think it's more important that you're respectful of communal spaces, kind and open for a chat at times. I usually enjoy spending time outdoors - I'm into my running/cycling/hiking/surfing. You'd be welcome to join in for any trips/activities. Although, having said that, I'm going to be away a lot during July/August, but around more in September.
