🏡 Spacious Rooms in Recently Renovated Grangetown House | CF11

Hi everyone,
Thanks for stopping by! I’m a part-time live-in landlord with a few spacious rooms to let in Grangetown (CF11), Cardiff.

The house has been recently renovated, while retaining some of its original features to keep plenty of character and charm.

A little about me
I work in Cardiff a few days a month, but I also travel across the UK for work and am usually back in London at weekends.
I’m happy to socialise occasionally, but I’m equally happy to give you your own space and let you get on with life.

Outside of work, I enjoy health and wellbeing activities such as swimming, going to the gym and walking. I’m also quite outdoorsy and enjoy hiking and kayaking. More often than not, you’ll probably find me exploring Cardiff’s coffee shops or trying out different food spots!

I also occasionally have my very friendly Cavapoo with me. She is limited to the downstairs areas and is very sociable and well behaved.

🛏️ About the house & rooms:
Aside from me, there are currently no other tenants, so if you're looking to move in with a friend or are interested in a buddy-up arrangement, I’m very open to that.
There are 3, possibly 4 spacious double rooms available.
PRICE: £500 plus bills at around £25 Per month)

I’m ideally looking for calm, easygoing mature students or professionals, although I’m open to Monday–Friday lets as well.

The most important thing for me is finding people who are clean, courteous, respectful and considerate, and who will treat the house as their home.

I’m LGBTQ+ friendly and open to both furnished and unfurnished arrangements, with pricing adjusted accordingly.

Alongside your own private room, you’ll have access to:
2 bathrooms: depending on occupancy, the maximum number of people sharing one bathroom would be 3, including yourself
A comfortable communal living/dining room
A fully equipped kitchen (microwave, fridge, freezer etc) I am planning to add a second kitchen to the property within 6 months.
A clean, well-maintained garden, which I’ll be adding more furniture and plants to

The house was repainted and redecorated in 2024, with a new kitchen and bathroom installed in 2023. Everything is modern, well maintained and in good working order.
There is also on-street parking available if required. Spaces can be limited, so please let me know in advance if you intend to bring a car.

The neighbours are friendly, with several lovely families living along the road, making it a pleasant and settled residential area.

The house is well placed for getting around Cardiff, whether you're working, studying or simply want easy access to the city.

🚉 Grangetown Station – approx. 0.4 miles away
A quick one-stop train journey takes you directly to Cardiff Central.

🚌 Excellent bus connections
Regular services are available from nearby Corporation Road and Penarth Road.

🏙️ Cardiff city centre & Cardiff Bay
Both are easily accessible by train, bus, bicycle or on foot. The River Taff also provides a pleasant route into the city centre.

🚣 Outdoor activities & leisure
There are gyms and various leisure facilities nearby, with opportunities for kayaking and white-water rafting within easy reach.

🌳 Parks & green spaces
Grange Gardens is nearby, offering plenty of green space and the popular Grange Pavilion community café. Sevenoaks Park and riverside areas are also close by.

🛒 Shopping & supermarkets
There are local convenience shops nearby, while larger supermarkets and stores including Asda, Morrisons, Aldi and IKEA are also within easy reach.

🌿 More than just a room
I want the house to feel like a comfortable home rather than simply somewhere you rent a bedroom.
There’s enough communal space to socialise, work from home or relax, while still giving everyone the opportunity to have their own privacy and space.

The garden will also be a lovely bonus once I’ve added some outdoor furniture and plants — somewhere to enjoy a coffee, get some fresh air or make the most of the warmer months.

I’m looking for housemates who are clean, respectful, easygoing and considerate of others. In return, I’ll do my best to make the house a comfortable, relaxed and welcoming place to live.
