Located just one minute from Misfits and a five-minute walk from Cardiff University Students’ Union and the Centre for Student Life, you couldn't ask for a better location. With Cardiff city centre just a short walk away, Cathays is the perfect place for students looking to make the most of university life.

The House -

The house is shared with five other second-year Cardiff University students. They're all academic and athletic, with four playing football for various university teams. Everyone is friendly, the house is kept in good condition, and there are some good cooks in the mix!

The property has a shared living room with sofas and a dining table, a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, oven and two fridges, and two bathrooms with showers (no baths). There is also outdoor decking, providing some additional space to enjoy when the weather allows.

The Room -

The room is generously sized, with two skylight windows that let in plenty of natural light. It comes furnished with a bed frame and mattress, a large chest of drawers, a desk, built-in wardrobe space, mirrors and a small sideboard unit.

The slanted ceiling is lower towards one side of the room, but there is comfortable headroom throughout most of the space.

Rent & Tenancy -

The room is available immediately, with up to three weeks' rent covered before you take over responsibility for the tenancy. The contract runs until 30 June 2027.

Rent includes water, gas, electricity and Wi-Fi. Council tax is currently not paid by the tenants due to their student status, so if you're not a student, the arrangements would need to be confirmed with the letting agent.

Parking -

There are two council parking permits available for the road. One has already been allocated to another tenant, leaving one available to purchase directly from the council for £30 per year if required. There is generally good parking availability on the road.
