Masters/PhD household

We're looking for suitable people to join us for the forthcoming academic year.
12 Months joint contract to share the house as a co operative team.

IMPORTANT: read right to the end!

To be considered, you must be:
Just about to start your Master's in September 2026.
Or a PhD candidate
Please don't contact us if you are nearly finished or extending your course to January etc.. We can't consider you and will not reply to you.

You must also be:
Friendly, open, easy to live with, clean, organised, hard working and ready to get to grips with your gruelling masters course! It's a very short year....No time for messing about!

We're fine with housemate's birthday parties (six parties in a year is good going!) but apart from that, this is a study focused household.

It would be great to share cooking responsibilities now and again so you could see this as an opportunity to build your kitchen rep.....

The landlord is responsive, local and and old school. Maintenance jobs are dealt with promptly and rent is expected on time every month.

The landlord is also respectful and does not require a deposit, BUT obviously expects us to look after the house and keep it clean.

Glynrhondda St has its challenges like most of Cathays when it comes to waste management - its essential that you are up for doing your share of cleaning up the front of the house...on a weekly rota...

Parking is also a problem. If you're thinking of bringing a car - DON'T! Preference will be given to tenants who do not bring a car - there's just no spaces for streets around. Sorry.
