Double Room Available in Friendly House Share – Danescourt, Cardiff
A spacious double room is available in a clean, quiet house shared with me (a 50-year-old professional male) and my friendly 9-year-old dog, Alfie, who is a Pug/Jack Russell cross.

Brand new mattress and bedding
Space for a large desk if needed.

£175 security bond

Location:
The house is in the quiet and popular Danescourt area of Cardiff.
Danescourt train station is around a 15-minute walk away, with direct trains to Cardiff Central every 30 minutes (journey time approximately 12 minutes).
Bus routes are nearby.
Local shops and the Post Office are just a 2-minute walk away.
On-street parking is available outside the house (parking is partly on the pavement due to the width of the road).
Council Tax Band D.

About Me:
I'm a self-employed, easy-going, clean and respectful 50-year-old homeowner. I'm looking to share with someone who is similarly considerate, tidy and reliable. Ideally you'll be a working professional, although I'd also consider a student or mature student.

About Alfie:
Alfie is very friendly and relaxed. He mostly keeps himself to himself, but you'll need to be comfortable living with a dog and not have any dog allergies.

House Rules:
Non-smoking house (smoking/vaping is fine in the back garden only).
Ideally looking for a non-smoker/non-vaper.
No illegal drugs or drug use in the house. If you are a drug user then please don't apply.
The room is for one occupant only. Occasional overnight guests are absolutely fine, but the room isn't suitable for couples or multiple occupants.

Security Bond:
Unfortunately, I've had a few very last-minute cancellations in the past after agreeing move-in dates. Because of this, a £175 security bond is now required to reserve the room. The bond will be returned in full when you move out, provided you've given at least two weeks' notice and the room and house have been looked after with no significant damage.
