Large double attic room in S6

Hello 👋 I’m Tom and I’m looking to find someone who is interested in moving into my lovely rented three-storey terraced house in Hillsborough, Sheffield!

The room available is the attic space, which is a large double room with a skylight, desk and other furniture (see pics). It’s the biggest room in the house and there’s loads of space. We’d be sharing the lounge, dining room, kitchen, study and bathroom. The bathroom had a new shower fitted a year or so ago and it’s pretty good. Plus I’ve never struggled to find a parking spot on the road outside.

I love living in this area – the house is a stones throw from Hillsborough Park where there’s a weekly parkrun and new padel courts, and just a five min walk to the yellow tram stop (this gets you into town/train station in like 10/20 mins). You’re also not far from Rivelin Valley, Walkley, Crookes – and can drive to the Peak District in less than 20 mins!

I’ve fully furnished the house myself so you wouldn’t need much furniture. Probs just a few bits for your own room but there’s a desk, clothes rail, bed, some drawers included. Although the room has only a daybed in there with a relatively thin mattress on it. It has been fine for previous housemates with a mattress or topper for added comfort.

The tenancy I’m on is currently a rolling monthly contract and my current housemate will be leaving this summer. I’m not sure yet but I’m anticipating it’ll be an August move in – but this could end up being earlier/later.

I’d be open to someone moving in until December initially. Not sure how long I’ll end up staying in Sheffield myself. All bills are included at £650 per month.

A bit about me… I’m working as a freelance journalist and mainly work remotely atm. I’m easygoing, tidy and respectful. Massively into music, vinyl, enjoy playing football, running, a bit of cycling, festivals, live music etc etc… it would be cool to have someone to chill with, watch films/shows/footie, play games, as well as head out to gigs and for a few pints with 😊 looking for someone who is a similar vibe.
