Double room with ensuite in two-bed Kelham flat

There is a room available in my flat as my current flatmate is planning to move out. The flat is in a newly-built (~5 years) apartment complex. The room is spacious with an ensuite bathroom, and there is a decent-sized kitchen/lounge area with a balcony. The room is furnished with a double bed, wardrobe and two sets of bedside drawers, and there is space for a desk or other furniture.

The flat is close to Tesco and Lidl, shops, cafes and bars in Kelham Island, and it is around 15-20 minutes' walk into the city centre. There are bus stops close by and it is about 25 minutes' walk to the train station. There is free parking slightly further up the street.

With new renting rules, we are on a rolling contract. Rent is £512.50 per month, and bills come to around £190, including council tax. The property is Band C. The deposit will be paid to my current flatmate.

I am a friendly and sociable person and enjoy chatting to flatmates, although I am also very respectful of space and privacy. I like to keep the communal spaces clean and tidy. I currently work as a cover teacher in secondary schools and enjoy films, reading, cooking and walking in the Peak District. I am hoping to live with someone who is friendly, clean and tidy.
