Hello :)
We have a third room available in our three-bed terraced house, located just off Endcliffe Park.
Bills come to approximately £110-120 per month, inclusive of internet, electricity, gas, water, and council tax (band B).
Council tax is split three ways regardless of student status, so more suited to part-time study or professionals.
About the room:
- The room is south facing with two large windows and looks over the garden, so gets great morning sunlight
- The room has a double bed frame with storage space underneath, double mattress, a chest of 3 drawers, a bedside table, and a small side table
-There is space for a desk and our landlady has a spare one she can provide should you want it, although most previous tenants have had their own
- The closet is HUGE and has built in shelves and a clothes rail, far surpassing the storage space of a regular wardrobe.
About the house:
- One spacious shared bathroom with sink, WC, large shower, and storage cabinets
- A shared kitchen with cooker/hob and washing machine
- A shared dining room with large F/F, benched table, large pantry, and additional storage / shelves. It also now has a large rug.
- A shared living room with two sofas and a coffee table
- Cellar
- Garden space with table and chairs which gets good sunlight
- A new roof was fitted in 2025 and new living room bay windows in 2026.
About the area:
- There are several bus stops all within 5 minutes of the house
- We have a large Co-op and small Sainos within 10 minutes, a Tesco Extra within 15, and Aldi / Waitrose that’s 30 minutes or a short bus ride away
- There are a range of cafes, restaurants, and pubs all along Ecclesall Road (a few minutes walk away)
- Endcliffe Park and the Botanical Gardens are on the doorstep and there are beautiful routes out of the city from here
- It’s a quiet and friendly area made up mostly of families and older people
- There is on street parking available, with no permit required.
About us:
- We are 31F and 35F
- We are more early rise early to bed people and treat home as a sanctuary. We’re not party people and so wouldn’t want a constant stream of guests
- We split the house chores three ways with a weekly rotation, and this has always worked well when everyone does their share
- We take great pride in our living space and would like to meet someone who would want to join us.
Things to note:
- If you are a particularly light sleeper or sensitive to noise, this may not be the house for you. Being a terraced house, it’s inevitable that we can sometimes hear each other moving about the house or occasionally our neighbours. We try to be considerate where possible, but our neighbours have children that make general children noises.
Please get in touch if you think you would be a suitable match.
