My current lodger is relocating, so I’m looking for a new person to share my home. This isn’t your typical house share – you’ll have a spacious double bedroom, your own private bathroom, and a fully furnished home office, making it ideal for someone who values both shared living and their own space.

The house is in the quiet village of Chesterton, just a short drive from Newcastle-under-Lyme, Stoke-on-Trent, the Royal Stoke Hospital, and Keele University (all around 15 minutes away). It’s also in a fantastic location, with a Co-op, GP surgery, pharmacy, pubs, cafés and takeaways all within easy walking distance.

The Most Important Housemates…

I share my home with two wonderful indoor cats, so finding someone who genuinely loves cats is essential.

I’m looking for someone who is either already very cat-savvy or is happy to learn. Because they’re strictly indoor cats, it’s really important that windows and external doors aren’t left open, and that you’re mindful of everyday items and plants that can be harmful to cats.

In return, you’ll receive unlimited purrs, cuddles and the occasional supervisory visit while you’re working from home.

The Kind of Lodger I’m Looking For

I’m hoping to find a bit of a unicorn—a responsible, considerate adult who enjoys a calm home.

Someone who:

* Is clean, tidy and respectful of shared spaces
* Communicates well and is considerate about guests
* Appreciates a peaceful household rather than a party house
* Loves (or is excited to love) two affectionate feline housemates

This is very much an adult home. While it’s not a party house, I’d love to live with someone who’s friendly enough to enjoy the occasional chat over a cup of tea or a glass of wine.
