Large double, flat to yourself most of the week

Large double room with a king size bed in a bright, quiet two bedroom flat in Bridge of Allan, available from 12 October.

I own the flat and keep the small room, but I'm only there the odd night. I've started a nursing degree at Stirling, so I stay over when I'm on campus late or have an early start on placement. How often will depend on lectures and placements. Some weeks a night or two, some weeks none, occasionally a bit more. The rest of the time you have the whole flat to yourself rather than just a room.

The flat is furnished throughout, with a living room, kitchen, and bathroom with a bath and shower. Fridge freezer, washer dryer, dishwasher, microwave and a smart TV. Electric storage heating, EPC E (53). There's an allocated parking space in a covered car port at the rear with room for bikes, and shared access to the communal gardens around the block.

Bridge of Allan is a quiet spot with good cafes and places to eat, and plenty of green space for walking and cycling. It's about ten minutes' walk to the University of Stirling campus and fifteen to Bridge of Allan station, with regular trains to Stirling, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

£900 a month plus a share of the electricity, worked out on how often we're each there. The supply is with Octopus, and the flat has been running at about £90 a month over the summer and between £150 and £200 in the winter months.

Council tax band D. I'm a full time student and exempt from council tax, so if you're a full time student too the flat is exempt. If you're working there's a 25% single person discount and the council tax would be yours to cover.

There's no broadband at the moment, but I'm happy to get it set up if you need it, with the cost split the same way.
