The room

This is a spacious room with (currently) a double bed, table, two bedside cabinets, a wardrobe and some shelving. Bedding, sheets, towels are provided.

There is access to a bathroom with bath and shower which is for renters' and guests' use.

There is a washing machine and a dishwasher, and storage for the lodger's items in the kitchen.

Three friendly, inquisitive cats live in the household so the renter must love cats. This is not negotiable. They like to go everywhere! Please don't apply if you can merely tolerate them.

Share of gas and electricity bills is expected to avoid waste, but there are solar panels on the roof. Please note there is no TV license.

Included: fast broadband, weekly cleaning service, monthly window cleaning.

Council Tax band G.

Would suit visiting academic, mature postgraduate student or professional.

I work from home so am usually around. I'm fairly quiet and I need a quiet and tidy environment.

Languages spoken (to varying degrees of proficiency): English, German, French, Scottish Gaelic, Japanese. Some basic Mandarin (still learning).
