We're happy to discuss furniture arrangements to suit your needs, if you'd prefer a dining table instead of a desk, for example, just let us know.

• Fully equipped shared kitchen with two ovens, five hobs, and a full-size fridge and full-size freezer
• Generous dining area with a large table, and a comfortable sitting room with two sofas and an armchair - shared between four people
• Bathroom with a bath and standalone shower shared with one other person, plus access to a second bathroom with additional shower

Your Housemates:
We're a French-British married couple in our early 30s, friendly and sociable, but equally respectful of your privacy and space. We work partly from home and are away fairly often, so the house is often peaceful and quiet. We welcome applications from professionals, academics, mature students, and international visitors.
Please note: we have two cats, so you'll need to be comfortable sharing a home with them. They are very sociable and extremely cute, if you like cats you will love them.
The Location:
Doune is a beautiful historic village with a community-run information centre, pharmacy, famous castle, two shops, cafés, and a good pub.
From the garden, you have direct access to forest paths and some truly spectacular walking: the River Teith, Doune Ponds, the iconic Doune Castle, Deanston distillery are all walking distance.
Getting around:
• 15 minutes drive to the University of Stirling
• 12 minutes drive to Dunblane train station (direct trains to Glasgow and Edinburgh)
• 15 minutes drive to Callander and the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park
• The Ember Bus stop is a 2 minute walk, routes to Edinburgh, Dundee and the Highlands
• Buses to Stirling and Callander from the village centre
