Only available Monday night to Friday morning is a double room in classic, rural idyll. The cottage is located in the midst of a vineyard only 20 minutes drive from Ipswich.

The small and cosy double room is furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, small desk, in room shower and WC.

There is a shared sitting room with TV (basic channels) dining table and wood burner. The shared kitchen has halogen hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher. The conservatory is a great space for dining in the warmer months or on sunny winter days.

Large gardens and ample parking.

Rent includes bills, bed linen, towels, wifi. . The cottage is kept very tidy.

Winter heating is via storage heaters on Economy 10 which I'll explain if you are unfamiliar.

There is excellent walking and cycling here with many footpaths leading from the cottage. There is a village pub in Shotley, that does food, and an excellent Indian takeaway and fish & chip shop along with a small shop and post office. On the waterfront at Shotley Gate there are further pubs also serving food and in the village of Chelmondiston on the way to/from Ipswich is a larger shop with a butchers, a Cantonese takeaway and pubs The Red Lion and The Butt & Oyster at Pin Mill. There are also sailing clubs at Woolverstone and Pin Mill.

You'll be sharing the cottage with the owner and a dog

Lodger must have full time residential address elsewhere. This is a part time let. References and ID check will be required.

Short lets of a predetermined length can be considered such as between house moves in which case the rent is £600 per month for a maximum of three months.
