Beautiful double ensuite in 16th century cottage

I have a double ensuite room (shower and toilet) to rent which is ideal for local creatives, artists or professionals, in my home in Yoxford. I moved here in December 2023 after over a decade living in Amsterdam. I am a curator, producer and writer working internationally in performing arts and interdisciplinary fields. I was born and raised in Suffolk. I came back to be close to my Mum who has severe Alzheimer’s in this last phase of her life.

Rent is per month and inclusive of bills. One month advance deposit. Rent payable in advance by the 1st of each month.
Double room, furnished with queen double bed, chest of drawers, side table and hanging space. There’s an ensuite shower and toilet. Bed linen and towels can all be provided.

The house has a spacious living area with well equipped kitchen. There is an aga and a woodburner which are the main source of heat downstairs in the winter. The bedroom has an electric radiator and en suite a heated towel rail which I ask tenants to use as needed and not leave on all the time!

There's an enclosed garden and nice terrace which is great for a coffee in the morning or outdoor meal when the weather is good. There's space to store a bike.
There is a car parking space. This is a no smoking house.
Working from home will need to be by negotiation.
