One bedroom in two bedroom flat (terrace+garden)

My name is Denise, I’m 31 and live in Addiscombe, Croydon. My current flatmate is moving out, so I’m looking for someone to join me in our lovely two-bedroom first-floor flat. I really love living here and would ideally like to stay, so I’m hoping to find someone like-minded who would enjoy making it a home together.

The flat has:
• Two bedrooms, with one currently available
• A spacious living room
• Separate kitchen
• Bathroom with a shower/bath
• Private terrace and garden
• On-street parking

A little about me: I work in research in higher education and work from home 3–4 days a week, usually from my bedroom. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, reading, seeing friends, going for walks, the occasional bottomless brunch and going out at weekends. I also love travelling whenever I can.

I’m quite sociable and would be very happy to have the occasional film night on the sofa, cook together or have a chat over a cup of tea, but I also really value having our own space and would want us both to feel comfortable and independent at home.

I’m ideally looking for someone friendly, considerate and easy-going who would like a home that feels welcoming and homely, rather than simply somewhere to sleep. 😊
