A bright, furnished double room is available in my detached home in the sought-after College area of Epsom, on a quiet residential road in a lovely green neighbourhood.

It's a great combination of a peaceful home and a really convenient location — around 5 minutes' walk from Epsom town centre and 10 minutes from Epsom station. There are several parks within easy walking distance, and Epsom Downs, with its famous racecourse and lovely open views towards London, is also nearby.

Epsom station has regular trains to Waterloo (around 35 minutes), Victoria (around 40 minutes) and London Bridge (around 43 minutes).

The room & house

The room is a good-sized double, furnished with a double bed, desk, wardrobe and chest of drawers. It's bright and full of natural light, with a pleasant outlook over a little green.

The house is detached, with a cosy lounge, separate dining room and fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher. There's fast Wi-Fi throughout the house, a shared garden and on-street parking. The bathroom is shared and has both a bath and shower.

About the household

I've really enjoyed sharing my home with lodgers over the years and getting to know them. I enjoy the occasional chat or dinner together, but I'm also someone who likes my own space, so I appreciate that others do too. For me, it's important that home feels friendly and welcoming.

I'm looking for someone friendly, considerate and tidy, who cares about the home they live in and contributes to making it a nice place to live.

I also have a cat, Neo, who can be a little timid when he first meets people but is very friendly once he gets to know you.

About me

I enjoy being outdoors and making the most of my free time — paddleboarding, running and cycling are some of my favourite things to do. I also enjoy heading into London for theatre, galleries and trying something new.

I love travelling and discovering new countries, and enjoy the sense of adventure that comes from not planning everything and seeing how things unfold — especially the people you meet along the way.

If this sounds like the kind of home you'd enjoy, I'd love to hear a little about you.
