I am seeking a student or student couple who wish to lodge in Bookham at a property that is presently undergoing renovation and occupied by my son who studies at NESCOT. Yes, this is for students only; you will be expected to demonstrate your compliance to this criteria.

Please note : a discount on the weekly rate will be considered for single occupancy. Flexible durations can also be considered.

The room has a double bed, cupboard for storage, and bedroom furniture. There is a shared bathroom (with bath/shower, basin and toilet), living room with two 3-seater sofas, dining table for four people and kitchen with electric hob/oven. The property is heated with gas central heating and has recently been re insulated to keep the warmth in! There is a driveway for multiple cars, front and rear garden, and storage in a double garage for bicycles.

Gas/electricity/water/broadband are all included (subject to fair use) and the property is exempt of Council Tax as presently rated for student use only. Lodgers are expected to share weekly tasks such as cleaning the kitchen, bathroom and vacuuming throughout.

I am currently undergoing renovation of the property myself, visiting the property most days and work around everyone to minimise disruption - this is reflected in the cost of the rent. To be transparent, the property isn't a show home but equally, I won't be irate with you for leaving a spec of food in the kitchen or a crumb on the sofa! The property is situated between Leatherhead and Great Bookham railway stations serving routes to London and Guildford/Dorking. Numerous bus services operate from stops within two minutes walk.
