The house is an architect designed contemporary detached house situated in a good sized garden with off street parking.
On the ground floor of the house there is a large living room and kitchen. The spare room is on a half level with a bathroom. The washing machine is in this bathroom so although our lodger will have principal use, other members of the household will need access.
On the first floor there are two more bedrooms, another bathroom and a studio office.
The guest room measures about 3.9m x 3.3m with a wide window looking SE over the back garden. It is furnished with a single bed, a 2 seater futon sofa-bed, a large wardrobe with drawers, a chair, small book case and table.
We are looking for a lodger who has day time working hours and will feel comfortable joining our mother and daughter household. I am an architect working from home. My daughter is a physiotherapist. We are both sociable and have independent interests and friendship groups.
