The room comes furnished with a double bed and mattress (with four drawers for storage), a wardrobe, and a compact dresser (which can be removed if not needed). It’s peaceful, filled with natural light, and ideal for someone who enjoys a calm, homely space.

About us

You’ll be sharing this spacious three-bedroom house with me (Clover) and our two friendly cats most of the time, and with my husband Ivo occasionally.

I work in art and rent a studio nearby, using the garage at home as a secondary workspace. My hours are usually mornings and evenings, with a long afternoon break at home. In my downtime you’ll usually find me at my allotment growing vegetables and flowers, walking in the Surrey Hills, or visiting exhibitions around London.

Ivo works for a foreign financial regulator and spends most of his time overseas. When he is home, he loves forest walks, cooking (he’s very good!), sports, and cosy movie nights.

Our cats — Simba and Millie — are the real owners of the house. Simba is calm and affectionate old boy (17 years), his sleeps most of the day except when eating, toileting and moving between his favourite spots. Millie is a 5 years old rescue, shy but a very sweet girl if you win her trust. She enjoys her daily patrol and bird watch, and sometime people watch in our front and back garden.
We’re ideally looking for someone who genuinely loves cats and is comfortable living in the house on their own and reliable on feeding the cats when we are away.

A bus stop is just a 1-minute walk away, with easy connections to:

• Morden Underground Station (Northern Line) – around 5 minutes by bus or 20 minutes’ walk
• Raynes Park Station – around 10 minutes by bus, with frequent trains to London Waterloo
• Wimbledon Station – around 20 minutes by bus, offering National Rail, District Line and Tram services

Several nearby railway stations, including • Motspur Park, • South Merton and • Morden South, provide further connections to Waterloo, Blackfriars, Farringdon, St Pancras International, Kingston, Surbiton and Guildford.

• Cannon Hill Common and Morden Park are both within easy walking distance, offering beautiful green spaces for walks, running, and relaxing outdoors.
