Double Room available in a homely girls house

Hi! My name is Hannah, and I’ve been living in the property for the last four years with my two cats. I’m now looking for a like-minded female to move into my spare room.

A little bit about me: I’m a freelance makeup artist working across fashion, film and photoshoots. I’m mostly based in London for work, but I’m also lucky enough to get to travel with my job from time to time. I’m 35 and would generally describe myself as pretty chilled and easygoing. I love nothing more than relaxing at home, wrapped up in blankets on the sofa in the evenings! I also love meeting friends for coffee, going for walks, and doing anything creative.

For me, it’s important to find someone like-minded who I genuinely feel comfortable sharing my home with. I’m not really looking for a situation where we’re simply two strangers renting rooms under the same roof - I’d much rather live with someone who’s happy to have a friendly, relaxed home environment and occasionally share a coffee, chat or meal together, while of course having our own space and lives too.

A little bit about the cats: I have two adorable cats, Kiska and Meeko, so you’ll definitely need to be a cat lover! 🐱

Kiska is a 16 year old girl who loves headbutts, sleeping and food. She’s still pretty sassy for her age and will definitely back chat you! 😂 She mostly enjoys a quieter life these days, but she can be incredibly affectionate and loves a good fuss when she’s in the mood. She is an absolute angel and it doesn’t take long for most people to fall in love with her!

Meeko is my 5-year-old boy, and his absolute favourite thing in the world is being chased. Yes, my neighbours probably think I’m slightly mental! 😂 He will also happily shout at you when he wants your attention. He’s much more energetic and boisterous than Kiska- much to her dismay- but he also loves sitting on your lap and generally being wherever you are.

The room: The room comes unfurnished and is a cosy, comfortable double bedroom with a built-in wardrobe, giving you plenty of storage space. You’ll also have your own private bathroom, as I have an en-suite, so you’ll have your own space and privacy within the house.

We have our own private garden and free off-road parking spaces too.

The location: The house is ideally situated for local amenities, with shops, cafés, restaurants and green spaces all within easy reach. Reigate town centre is just a short walk away, as is Reigate train station, which offers great transport links into London and surrounding areas. Redhill station is also only a short drive away, giving you even more options for commuting and getting around. The location is a lovely balance of being close to everything you need while still feeling peaceful and residential.
