We are looking for a housie to join our friendly wee house share in Fenham.
The room is a ground floor double room in a five bed HMO, the rent is £450 which includes all bills.
There is a communal livingroom, small communal kitchen, 3 communal WCs (all up stairs: one with a shower, another with a bath), and there is a yard with covered seating and some efforts to grow vegetables and that.
The house is directly opposite a sweet park and about 25mins walk from the centre of Newcastle, with a bus stop just across the road.
2 current housies are LGBTQIA+ and we are creative lefty weirdo types in our 30s who value community. We sometimes host cute parties. We share some food communally as well as having stashes of non-shared food. There's a cleaning rota; the usual gubbins. A vegan/veggie would be a bonus but no deal-breaker. We can't accept couples unfortunately: the kitchen is a real squeeze and deffo too small for more than 5 of us.
May be unsuited for folks with debilitated immune systems, inquire for details.
If you reckon you'd be a good fit, just drop us a message. Please mention 'Fray Bentos' so we know its not spam and you've read the ad :)
