Double room near Regent Centre

Sunny double room to rent in an upper 2-bed flat in Gosforth. The room comfortably fits a double bed and overlooks the garden.

Flat is made up of two bedrooms plus a shared living room, kitchen and bathroom. There is a garden at the back of the property and parking on the street at the front.

Good transport links: 5-10 minute walk to Regent Centre, 5 mins from Asda and an M&S. Also not far to Gosforth High Street with cafes, pubs and more shops.

Flat is let unfurnished, and currently furnished with my furniture. You are welcome to bring your own, or I will add a double bed/mattress to the room. It currently has a large wardrobe and set of drawers. There would be space to add a desk/more storage. Pictures show a few marks on the walls/filled holes from things mounted on the wall, but I will be repainting the room in the next couple of weeks.

You'll be sharing with me, and I've lived here for the last 4 years. I usually work from home, but do occasionally have to travel. I value a relaxed home and my own space, but also love a chat while cooking or with a glass of wine. Would love to live with someone looking for a calm and cosy house, who is respectful of shared spaces and bonus points if you're keen to help garden!

Short and longer term lets considered.

Council Tax Band A - not included in price, £84.50 each per month.

Room is currently empty, but I need to do some touch-ups around the flat so it will be available from late June, but an earlier move in could be negotiated.
