Cosy little room in quirky Heaton flat

The Room

Renting out my cute room for 4/5 weeks while I’m away in India. The room is fully furnished and I will leave fresh bedding and towels out. It’s in a gorgeous, quirky flat with two other rooms but only one other flatmate. Full use of the shared space is encouraged, we even have a little backyard if you don’t mind the cold! The kitchen has everything you could possibly need so no need to bring anything of your own. It is a vegan household so someone who shares those values would be preferred, although vegetarian would also be okay. Storage space would include one full sized wardrobe (with drawers inside), under the bed, one shelf in the bathroom cupboard and one full cupboard in the kitchen for food (as well as fridge and freezer space). There is also an attic which is very easy to access if extra storage space is needed. We also have a small spare bedroom which could be used as an office if you work remotely, and as a guest room if you have anyone to stay over.

The Location

The flat is in a great location just down the road from Heaton Park Road. It is walking distance to stunning parks, Ouseburn and the city centre, as well as just a short metro ride to the coast. There are countless cosy cafes, restaurants and shops nearby, and several nice yoga studios around 10 mins walk from the door. You won’t be lost for things to do here!

The Flatmate

Lila (my flatmate) is the landlord and is super easy-going and sweet. She works freelance as a dancer, performer and masseuse- so she’s always doing something fun and is mostly out training. You will most likely have the flat to yourself a lot of the time, although I’m sure Lila will invite you to some cool things and cook for you at some point!

Availability/Extra Info

The room would be available from the 06/11 to the 10/12, so can be rented out for the entire time, for one full calendar month, or by individual weeks. Rent is negotiable depending on how long someone would like to stay. This is perfect for someone visiting Newcastle or someone who has just moved here and needs a safe, cosy place to stay whilst checking out longer term rentals. There is also the option to stay long term and move to the smaller room when I return, if this is something you would be interested in 😊🤗🫶🏼
