Large double room in quiet, green area of Jesmond

I have a master double bedroom to rent on the south west edge of Jesmond. The room is a very good size with refurbished original wooden floors and ceiling features. It’s directly south facing and gets sun all year round, with good storage, and a desk and hanging rail which aren't included in photos. Shared living room with proper dining table, large kitchen with plenty of storage and good equipment/appliances and shared bathroom in good condition. It’s a fairly old property, but the heating is really powerful (the radiators are huge for some reason!) so it’s nice and warm. There’s a small front garden under the window which the room looks out on which I look after, and a back yard (which I mostly just use for hanging out washing, for sitting outside there’s a big green at the bottom of the road).

The flat is a 2 bed located on Wolseley Gardens in Jesmond Vale, which is a very quiet and pretty part of Jesmond bordering green space leading on to the Ouseburn. Parking is permit free and there’s always plenty of space. Jesmond Dene is a couple of minutes walk away (great for running if you’re into that), and Jesmond centre is around 15 minutes walk, Jesmond Metro 10 minutes and Newcastle city centre around 20 minutes. You can also walk through the park to Heaton in around 10 minutes and when driving the coast road is around a minute away so it’s easy to get around and you miss the traffic getting into Jesmond centre. There are bus routes into town a couple of minutes away.. I really love living here, it's a really nice balance of a peaceful and attractive feel, and proximity to the centre, Jesmond, Heaton, and parks and green space.

I’m a 32 year old male professional, occasionally work from home, but not too often. I’ve lived in Newcastle for just over 2 years, from Cumbria originally. I’m into my exercise, cooking, and occasional rounds of golf, and consider myself to be pretty laid back and hopefully pretty easy to live with. I don’t have pets, although I do sometimes look after my family’s and my sister’s dogs (a springer and a retriever) so they’d be here occasionally, and open to pets if you have them. No smoking though, sorry. Anything else you’d like to know just ask!

Bills included, including good full fibre broadband. One month’s rent as deposit, which would be put into a protection scheme. Looking ideally for a 6 month initial term, but flexible on this.
