Double master en-suite room in quiet estate

I'm looking to rent out my master room with shower en-suite in my 3-bed detached house.

The bedroom is spacious, with a very large wardrobe, a king size bed with memory foam mattress and a lush view out across the Tyne Valley.

You will have access to a shared living room, kitchen, downstairs toilet, and there is a garden at the front and back. You are welcome to put things in my garage, which I also use for storage.

I've had lodgers for the past 6+ years (one for 3.5 years who then relocated, and another for just over 3 years who is now buying his own property).

I am the only other resident (apart from my cat) and I stay at property approximately 50% of the time. The rest of the time, I am at my partner's house.

I have my own double room and a separate bathroom.

There is also a smaller 3rd bedroom which I use as an office space when I work from home. This can be shared with co-ordination - e. g. I sometimes work from the property but sometimes from my partner’s house. I work Monday to Friday office hours, for the NHS.

I am clean, tidy and quiet and am looking for someone of a similar living ethos and temperament.

When not at work I normally play netball or am staying with my partner who lives on the other side of the city. My partying days are definitely behind me but I do enjoy going to watch gigs. I have a piano and play for pleasure but am respectful of what and when I play.

It's a quiet new build cul-de-sac (10+ years), with free parking and on a street of professional friendly folk.

I have a drive which fits one car and can be used/ shared.

The A1 is a 5-minute drive away, and you can get into Newcastle City Centre in 20 minutes via car/ public transport. The Hadrian Way up the River Tyne is a stone's throw away in this semi-rural area of suburban Newcastle.

I live with my friendly, confident out door cat, Ronnie, who is 10 years old. When I am not around, I will ask that you feed him.

The property is available mid-November 2026. As well as full time, I am also open to part time living arrangements e. g. Monday to Friday. I will ask for ID, references and there will be a lodger agreement for us both to sign as part of the contractual arrangement to reside at the property.
