I have a nice double room available in an amazing two bedroom apartment, which is just a 10 minutes walk from the city centre.

The flat is fully furnished and has all necessary appliances:
- Dishwasher
- Fridge/freezer
- Oven and electric hob with extractor fan above
- Microwave, toaster
- Washing machine (with a good dryer)
- Vacuum cleaner
- Air conditioner (for abnormally hot summers)
- Heaters & electric kettle (for the usual weather)

There is also a designated parking space if you need one (I don't).

The open plan living room is quite spacious and benefits from panoramic windows (and a nice view of the river Tyne/bridges).

Your room has a king-size bed with a good mattress, a desk with an office chair, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers, 2 bedside tables, radiator and some space for additional furniture should you need it.

Rent is £465 per month. This already includes the water bill. The additional monthly bills (to split 50/50) are: council tax (£169), electricity (~£79) and Internet (£22 for 100Mbps broadband). So overall bills are £135 per person per month, i. e. the price per room all bills inclusive is £600.

I'm a 30-something professional working long hours during the week. On weekends I spend most of my time reading about, and investing in, startups. I'm also learning to sing and play the guitar (but don't worry I won't torture you with my practice if you are home). I am a really easy going, very tidy and respectful of your own space kind of guy.
