Note my house has been on the market and not sold but my son starts school in september in W. bay, so i have decided to rent rooms out and put the hosue back on the market next summer 2012. i am moving to Whitley Bay to rented accommodation myself ( much smaller than here) and i am looking to rent 3 of the 5 bedrooms. Some but not all of the furniture will remain, for instance beds and sofas will be provided but ill be taking wardrobes and chest of drawers with me. Lots of my stuff will remain in the utility ( eg camping gear) i will keep a key so i can come and grab stuff if i need to, do the garden and maintenance work, so it will be a bit like being in a liveinlandlord place with the landlord being away most of the time!
rental contract is as per rent a room, rather than entire tenancy, thus if someone moves out, the others are not liable for their rent.
i can provide contact details from previous lodgers so they can give you the low down. Im easy going but do expect my beloved house to be looked after and respected. its gorgeous.
