There is one double room (single occupancy) available from 23rd February in this traditional mid-terraced, extended shared house at £520 per month which includes all utility bills (electricity, gas, water), Council Tax and Virgin Media 300mb wi-fi broadband.

This ground floor front bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside table, storage unit and a desk & chair.

The road is quiet, and virtually all residential so the neighbours are also quiet.

Only 0.5 miles from the town centre, the house is a registered HMO with Swansea Council, and I am a registered landlord with Rent Smart Wales (details on request).

Fire extinguishers, fire blanket and mains powered smoke alarms are fitted, and inspected annually in accordance with the Council HMO regulations.

The property’s location, close to major bus routes and the mainline to London train station, means easy access to all areas of Swansea, local university campuses and beyond.

All bills are included, including Council Tax and Wi-Fi broadband.

There are two bathrooms in the house, one on the ground floor with shower and WC, the other on the first floor with bath, shower and WC. There is a a communal lounge/dining area, and double glazing and gas central heating throughout.

There is an established garden with patio area, with views over East Swansea from the rear.

There is also a washing machine/dryer in the kitchen for the tenants’ use.

There are currently 3 other tenants, working locally.

Housing benefit recipients are welcome if they have a recent track record of receiving and paying rent directly to the landlord.

The house is non-smoking inside, but smoking is permitted to the front and rear of the house.

The house is a short walk into town, bus stop or to the train station.

There is a security deposit of £520 to pay in advance, which is placed with the Deposit Protection Service.
