Roman House, a charming, large, detached stone-built home with a 1.5-acre south-facing garden with wildlife, and very many established trees and shrubs.

My wife, Grace, and I have enjoyed living here for almost 45 years. We have a very friendly 8 year old cat, named Sunny.

Situated in a peaceful area, a 7 minute walk down to the town, Grange Terrace offers views over parkland and the River Forth. The house features bright, very spacious rooms, including two well-furnished guest rooms.

Each contains a comfortable double bed, electric blanket, double leather sofa, 43” Smart TV, fast Virgin Media broadband, and additional amenities like a fridge, kettle, and USB power points, in each of our two guest rooms.

Guests share a fully equipped upstairs kitchen with another lodger, offering a washer-dryer, freezer, fridge and views to the front of the house. There are two bathrooms (one on each floor) and ample parking on the street.

Bo’ness is a quaint town with shops, cafes, and attractions including a steam railway and the Hippodrome cinema.

Bo'ness is in a central location, located just 20 miles from Edinburgh, with excellent transport links to all areas of Scotland, include regular trains from nearby Linlithgow, to Edinburgh & Glasgow, and bus services to neighbouring towns.

Rent: £685 per month for a single guest, or £160 per week (minimum stay ) or £720 per month for a couple, or £195 per week. The rent includes all Bills and Council Tax.

Just for clarity, my wife and I stay here, with one very nice guest, who is a mature professional lady, who and has been with us for a year.

Both my wife and I and our existing guest are friendly and easy to get on with. An ideal guest would be a mature professional, male or female.
