I have a beautiful fully furnished double room with private bathroom for rent in the centre of South Queensferry. My house is just around the corner from the sea. Its very tranquil and looks out onto a beautiful community garden with lots of mature trees.

It was built in 1850 and has loads of character. I've refurbished everything to a very high standard. There's a large open plan kitchen and living room with all the usual amenities (washing machine, dishwasher, large fridge freezer, TV) lots of light. A shower room and toilet with electric shower. The bedroom is fully furnished with beautiful upcycled vintage Stag furniture and an orthopaedic bed, tallboy chest of drawers, 2 bedside cabinets, a desk and view onto a garden. Dalmeny train station is a short 10 min walk and trains to Waverley are frequent. You can be in Edinburgh in 20 mins. Airport is only 15 mins away.

I have two cats, Mary and Archie (both rescues) and friendly, especially Macy.

I'm self employed and work from home. Sometimes I have to travel with my work so can be away a few days a month.

I write poetry, practice yoga and meditation, run, love horses and ride when I can. I am very tidy and take pride in my home so you would need to be a wee bit of a neat freak too.
