I currently have a double room with canal view and desk for £525 per month in my house (live in landlord) sharing with 2 guys and a girl. As there's one female housemate, I'm looking for some female company for her to keep the house balanced. Please note I’m looking for people to stay longer term with a minimum stay of around 9 months but the contract term is 3 month and becomes a rolling contract after that.

The deposit’s one month’s rent and the rent is payable a month in advance. All bills are included gas, electric, water, council tax, tv license, sky tv, fiber wifi, a cleaner and a home emergency policy are also currently included. The property is located in North West Birmingham 2.6 miles from the city centre, post code B185SL.

The property is situated close to a canal and park on a spacious landscaped estate, with Brindley Place and Broad Street only 30 minutes walk away down the canals or a 15 minute cycle. Transport links are excellent with the 101 bus leaving from less than one minute walk from the door from the Norton Street / Lodge Road stop travelling to the city centre (Colmore Row) in 12-15 minutes and 5-7 minutes to the jewellery quarter (stopping by the train station+metro). You can walk 10 minutes to the Soho Benson Road metro stop and get to the city centre in around 10 minutes. It also takes 10 minutes to the city centre by car and 5 minutes to the Jewellery Quarter. Nearby buses include 101,11,16,74,79.

Intended with the young professional in mind the house is well fitted out for contemporary living with all mod cons, white goods, wifi, tv and sky tv etc. There is one main bathroom shared by 3 people and there is a separate toilet/WC.

There is plenty of off-street parking on the estate and one driveway space (which I use).

The deposit's placed in the Government accredited deposit protection service for your peace of mind. I’m a National Landlord Association member. There are no admin fees or hidden extras. No couples. Existing tenants get 1st choice on any single or double rooms that become available. EPC rating band C (78 out of 100).
