Double En-suite in 2-Bed Flat near Brindleyplace

Double en-suite (Original Super King bed has since been replaced with a Double Bed)

Hi! I’m looking for someone to join me on a new lease and take over the double en-suite room in a lovely 2-bed, 2-bath flat near Brindleyplace.

The available room comes with a double bed, two bedside tables, a built-in wardrobe and its own private bathroom with shower. The flat has a spacious open-plan kitchen and living area, as well as a balcony overlooking the canal.

There is also a parking space available, which I don’t currently use, secure bike storage, a small residents’ gym and concierge service seven days a week. We’re just a few minutes’ walk from Broad Street, around 15 minutes from Five Ways and 25 minutes from Birmingham New Street Station. Despite being so central, it’s surprisingly quiet!

A little about me: I work for an arts organisation and usually work from home on Mondays. I enjoy having a calm, tidy and comfortable home, and I’m generally quite easy-going and respectful of each other’s space and routines. I love travelling when I can, and over the weekends you’ll often find me going to see an exhibition or show, meeting friends, or happily staying home with a book (I’m a bit of a bookworm!)

I’m looking for someone who would similarly enjoy a friendly and considerate home—somewhere we can both have our own space, but also feel comfortable having a chat or sharing the living room and kitchen from time to time.

**Bills and council tax are shared between us:**
Council Tax (Band E): approx. £120 per person/month
Water, electricity and internet: currently approx. £100 per person/month

As this will be a new joint tenancy, the usual reference and affordability checks will be carried out by the letting agency through Rightmove as part of the application process.
