Mentis Midlands CIO offers a self-contained unit at Farnborough Road for an adult with mental health support needs who would benefit from support to live independently.

The accommodation

• Your own kitchenette and private bathroom
• Access to a shared kitchen and communal living space
• Resident service charge: £21.86 per week, payable separately from the eligible rent

Support available

• Weekly face-to-face support and regular wellbeing checks
• Help with budgeting, benefits and accessing local services
• Support to build confidence and independent living skills
• Access to an out-of-hours emergency support line

Eligibility

Applicants must be aged 18 or over, require support and qualify for Housing Benefit covering the full eligible rent.

Working applicants are welcome, provided their earnings and circumstances allow them to meet this requirement. Housing Benefit eligibility and support needs will be assessed before a placement is offered.

Mentis Midlands CIO is a registered charity and holds the BVSC Bronze Quality Standard.
