I have a furnished first-floor double room available in my terraced house in Earlsdon. I recently bought the place and live here on my own, so you’ll only be sharing the house with me. It's a good fit if you want a quiet, straightforward place to live rather than a busy HMO.

The Room It’s the middle bedroom on the first floor (approx. 11'9" x 11'0" / 3.58m x 3.36m). It gets plenty of light through a large window and comes furnished with a double bed, desk, chair, and built-in wardrobe/shelving.

The House Since I only moved in recently, I'm still gradually furnishing the shared spaces and putting my own stamp on the house, though all the main appliances and essentials are already sorted:
• Two bathrooms: There's a main bathroom upstairs and a separate shower room downstairs. Both have a toilet and shower, so we basically get one each.
• Kitchen: Range cooker, dishwasher, and washing machine.
• Living space: Two reception rooms and a dining area, so there is plenty of space to spread out.
• Garden: South-facing back garden with a patio, lawn, and sun canopy.
Location & Getting Around The house is on a quiet residential street a couple of minutes' walk from Earlsdon High Street (cafes, pubs, local shops, and a Tesco Express/Co-op).
• Parks: About a 5-minute walk to Hearsall Common, and roughly a 12–15 minute walk to both Spencer Park and Coventry War Memorial Park.
• Supermarkets & Retail: Around a 20–25 minute walk (or 5-minute drive) to Alvis Retail Park, which has a big Aldi, Morrisons, B&Q, Currys, McDonald's, Greggs, and The Gym Group. Cannon Park Shopping Centre (big Tesco, Aldi, Boots, etc.) is also less than 10 minutes away by car or bus.
• Train Station & Town: Coventry Train Station is about a 20–25 minute walk, and the City Centre is around 25–30 minutes on foot (or a 5–10 minute bus ride).
• Universities: Warwick Uni is roughly 2.5 miles away—about 10 minutes on the direct 11 or 12X bus from down the road, or a 10–15 minute cycle. Coventry Uni is easily reachable on the same bus routes into town.
