Room Hockley

Mentis Midlands has a room available at 8 Rosebery Street for an adult who needs support with their mental health and independent living.

The accommodation offers your own private bedroom, with shared kitchen, bathroom and communal facilities.

Who can apply?

Working applicants and people receiving benefits are welcome to enquire. Applicants must:

Be aged 18 or over.

Have mental health support needs and be willing to engage with regular support.

Qualify for Housing Benefit covering the full eligible rent, subject to an individual assessment.

Working applicants can be considered where their earnings allow them to retain the required Housing Benefit entitlement.

Rent and service charge

The eligible rent is payable through Housing Benefit, subject to approval. There is a separate resident service charge of £25 per week, payable by the resident. This service charge is not the total weekly rent.

Our friendly team provides regular support with benefits, budgeting, accessing health services and developing the skills and confidence to live independently.
