The house!

--- LOCATION---
This beautiful 6 bedroom semi-detached Victorian house is located on a quiet and safe road, ideally located between Moseley village (10min walk) and Kings Heath High Street (20min walk).

---THE HOUSEMATES---
Currently occupied by a young couple in their early 30's (Alex and Emily), who are looking to expand their friendship group after our PhD friends moved on to new placements.

We are friendly and sociable, and would like to do things together with the other housemates where possible. If you are new to Birmingham then we can help you get to grips with this rapidly improving city, and if you're an old pro then we always welcome new insights.

This is by no means a big party house but doesn't mean we don't like to go for a cheeky pint every now and then. We do like to eat together when possible, watch film and play games. Dinner parties are actively encouraged... bonus points if you are a budding chef. We're always up for BBQs and fires in the lovely garden and being sociable at the end of the day. We're generally tidy and respectful of each other's space, and would expect the same from anyone moving in. If that sounds like your kind of thing, then please get in touch.

---ROOMS TO LET---
There are two double rooms to let that are available now, and a third that will be available in a couple of months (being refurbished):
- ground floor, large double (4.5 into bay x 4m): with double glazed bay window to the front, this room comes with large double, wardrobe, desk, armchair and fireplace (ornamental)
- first floor, large double (4m x 3.7m): double bed, large wardrobe, original fireplace (ornamental), double glazed window to the front and room for a small desk (first bedroom photo).

---THE BEAUTIFUL HOUSE---
In the rest of the house, there is a dedicated lounge, a separate dining/breakfast room and a large kitchen (all pictured). There is a large bathroom on the first floor and separate toilet/shower room on the ground. There is also a small guest room on the second floor for friends when they stay over, and another small bedroom on the first floor for drying clothes.

To the rear is a massive garden and patio area for entertaining/running around/playing football/badminton, and you can be sure there will be more than a few BBQs when the sun decides to come out... if you are a keen gardener then you're onto a winner!

---THE SMALL PRINT---
Initial deposit of £500 will be required, with the minimum term 3 months (though should things not work out for whatever reason we will try and be flexible). There are no agency or contract fees to pay. Parking on the road outside the house will not be a problem as Merton Road is quiet, and it is unrestricted so no worries about parking fines. Council tax band is D but is included in rent.

Initial interviews will be done by phone/video call. If we all get on then we will arrange a tour of the house at a suitable time.
