Lovely light-filled flat near Chichester hospital

The shared kitchen-lounge is light-filled and spacious

I have a large, single-occupancy double room available from in my lovely twin-level flat behind St Richards’ Hospital. With one other lodger it shares a well-equipped bathroom (with both bath and shower) and a fabulously bright, airy kitchen-lounge area with windows on three sides. You can watch glorious sunsets fronted by the cathedral spire while you're standing at the sink. Or look towards the South Downs from beside the bookcase which is packed with dozens of travel guides - I wrote many of them myself. The flat is fully furnished with washing machine, basic pans and crockery, sofas, dining table etc.
I live in the flat but have a self-contained floor upstairs with my own bathroom, sitting area and basic cooking facilities. That means that the main floor facilities are most commonly for the use of the lodgers, though I do retain the rights of occasional use of this and other communal areas.
The flat is on the second floor of a 16 year old, 4-storey building just 3 minutes' walk from the hospital, 7 minutes from the university, 15 minutes from New Park Cinema.
The building has a secure entry door, is well insulated and wonderfully quiet despite its handy location. Do be aware, however, that there is no lift so you'll need to be fit enough to cope with two floors' of stairs. Council tax, internet and most other bills within fair-use limits are included. There is one assigned parking space right outside the building (usage schedule by agreement with other lodger) and a secure shed for bicycles.
