Character double room with private study

A lovely double bedroom with its own adjoining study or lounge, in a timber-framed home in the village of Cowfold, West Sussex. Exposed oak beams, a cast-iron fireplace and churchyard views make it a peaceful, cosy place to come home to. It's a 17th-century house, so the beams are low. It suits someone of average height or shorter.

Large double bedroom with a double bed, bedside table and hanging rail (wardrobe to follow soon). This leads onto a smaller study, with a bureau desk.

Bath with a shower attachment (no separate shower). I have an en-suite, so the bathroom is mostly yours. Shared kitchen and laundry.

Easy on-street parking, and a bus stop very close by.

I live here full time and work from a separate room downstairs. My adult son stays about once a month. It's a quiet, tidy, non-smoking, pet-free home, and it's vegetarian.

I'm looking for a quiet professional, ideally vegetarian or happy to keep the shared kitchen meat-free. Occasional overnight guests are fine by arrangement. References required.
