The room is a double room, with two single beds which convert to a double bed. There is a spacious wardrobe with hanging space, folding table, chair and chest of drawers. The room overlooks the garden.

The house is detached, located in a quiet cul-de-sac with five other houses. There is off-road parking.

There is a shared bathroom which is very spacious having bath and shower facilities. Downstairs there is a second toilet. There is a dining-room, sitting room and kitchen, all of which can be used by the tenant. The kitchen has a separate fridge for the tenant. There is a small garden at the rear of the property.

I am a single man. I am 71 years old and fully retired. I am a Christian and have lived in the village for over 30 years. I am an outdoor enthusiast and enjoy long walks. I tend to have a quiet indoor life.

West Hoathly is less than 20 minutes by car from Gatwick Airport and also from Three Bridges which has fast trains to London and the South. East Grinstead is the closest town being about 10 minutes away. The village is situated on the edge of Ashdown Forest so there are opportunities for walking. There is a local shop and two pubs within walking distance.

I am looking for someone who is quiet, tidy, honest and generally independent.

The rent includes a council tax supplement of £75.
