Cosy single room in central Petworth cottage

I have a small, comfortable single room available in my cute Victorian cottage right in the centre of Petworth. It’s a characterful, relaxed home with plenty of charm, and Petworth Park, the town centre, independent shops, pubs and cafés are all just a few minutes’ walk away. The South Downs is on the doorstep too.

The room is compact but cosy, and you’ll have shared use of the bathroom, kitchen and living spaces. I'm open to reconfiguring or adjusting furniture if you need something else. There’s also a lovely garden to enjoy when the weather is good. I have two friendly dogs, so you’ll need to be happy living with dogs.

I’m looking for one friendly, considerate professional who wants somewhere genuinely homely rather than a standard house share. I’m sociable and enjoy good food, music, the outdoors and a chat, but I also value and respect having our own space.

Rent is **£595 per month including bills** for a full-time arrangement. I’m also open to a **Monday–Friday arrangement at a reduced monthly rent**, which could work particularly well for someone who works locally or needs a base in the area during the week.

The room is furnished and available from 11 October 2026. Viewings are by arrangement and will be informal so come and have a look around, meet me and the dogs, and see whether it feels like a good fit.
