I live here with my son and one other lodger who is very rarely here.
I am looking for someone to rent the room. However, there is an option for a reduced or no rent in the in April. I am going to be offering one of the bedrooms to an adult with learning disabilities. It is called a Shared Lives Scheme.
If you would like to help out a few evenings a week so I can get a break then we can look at reducing your rent and depending on the amount of hours possibly no rent at all.
The adult with learning disability will be gone in the day to college/day centre and activities so they will be pretty independent.
If you have care experience or would be interested in getting it then it could be a good opportunity for you. We can work out the logistics together. I am very flexible.. It's a good chance for you to save money too. I hope it is a win win for everyone!
